Flint, then Detroit, now Winston-Salem — dreaming of Greece.
I'm a software and web developer based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I work across the stack - React and TypeScript on the front, Node and PostgreSQL behind it - and I like the parts of the job where a fuzzy idea turns into something people can actually use.
Off the clock I run a homelab: my own servers, my own services, my own mistakes. That's where most of the systems knowledge comes from - you learn a lot about networking the week you break your own DNS.
